adj. woful, awful, terrible; kona váliga, Am. 52; snák váligrar brákar, Fms. vi. 362: wicked, in the phrase, spyrja er bezt til váligra þegna, wicked men are best to hear of, not to see, i. e. the farther off the better, Njarð. 370.
